Starlight, starbright

Starlight, starbright
Wishing on the first star of the night
I wish I may
I wish I might
Make all your dreams
Come true tonight

It has been quite a while since I wrote anything…at least a good two weeks. A lot has been going on I guess. As I am writing this, there’s tones of assignments just waiting to be done. Feeling the heat now…I had a relatively busy weekend…

Asher...jeng jeng jeng.

PG 165 played in an outdoor gig last weekend. It was an event that was organized by SPARC and was called the Outdoor Evening Lounge…just on the small park behind MMU’s library. I can describe the entire setting as pretty. Imagine hand made lanterns and Christmas lights adorning the trees and grassy areas…and a Coffee Bean Ice Blended for each person...people sitting on the benches, people sitting on the mats on the grass....They had about 3 bands(Krum, Trivan and us) and two solo performances(ABU and a girl called Lyn). We were the last to perform. I especially enjoyed Lyn’s jazzy solo singing…it was incredible. thanks to Danial Khairi for inviting us to play.

Well, I was feeling rather jiwang-ish after a while. With the atmosphere slowly becoming more soothing as the night went on…sigh…

~what's a girl like you doin on a starry night like this? ~

What's that chair doin in the center? ugly...

We performed four songs. The song “Work of Art” made it’s debut on that night…Vijay sang Green Day’s “Wake me up when September ends” unplug version. Justin did his own song, “I Will”. We were actually done but some of our friends insisted we play Dare You to Move…(again). So we obliged and ended the night there. It was kinda fun and it was my first outdoor gig in such a setting...Thanks to all the peeps that came to support us.

an excerpt from Stefanie's Blog:
I was deeply touched by the self-composed songs. Emo songs, yes, yet they touched a nerve deep inside me that made me feel touched to the core. It was personal, it was real, it was comforting. Most of all, it spoke to me - stefanie chong.

Feeling kinda sleepy. Evidence of not really able to sleep well these past few weeks or so. I had an interview at 9am today for Industrial Training placement in a company in Malim Jaya…so happens the company does Semiconductor stuff…I kinda felt ill equip as I sat through the interview with the engineer who was a nice guy…quite young, maybe a few years my senior. I didn’t have any Visual Basic or Autocad knowledge which wasn’t encountered in my course. I apologized to the engineer who said it’s ok cause we are only trainees and the skill can be learned as we go along. I hope it works out.

"If you could only chose one of the two...which one will you choose? would you choose the girl or the guitar?"

.....guitars can't hurt you...but maybe the heartache and the waiting is worth it, and the joy of knowing the one whom you would share your dreams with exeeds holding the most expensive Gibson ...

Is it the emo season again? Am i revealing too much emo-ness? I once asked Stefanie Goh...if she thought me an emo person...she said," In person not really, but online, it seems so"...so I asked,"which one is real?" she said,"...both i guess"...
Zhen Xin says sometimes i think too much...i do a lot of ponderings especially in the early hours of the morning.

nursing a bleeding heart that no one knows...the reason behind the anguish...

sigh...

~starry? it's not starry here also~

was just listening to Yellow Card's entire album "Ocean Avanue" for the first time.
I like the songs, the lyrics, the melanchonic feeling in it...not too depressing like SImple Plan...but something more melanchonic...something that i can relate too and am taking in like a thirsty man in the desert...
I guess i wouldn't mind letting my musical lyrics at this moment get influenced by them...bahh... kejiwangan....give me a pen and paper...write write....what's on my mind....
