A Busy Week...

It has been a busy week for me...

I kinda enjoyed my Chirstmas this year coz i managed to catch up on stuff with some friends about stuff goin on in their lives. I met my ex classmate who is back in malaysia for industrial Training...previously he was in Australia. Overall, it was a break from all the rehearsals for NOC 3.

We have been rehearsing very hard for the up coming Chirstmas musical that my days normally end around 2am at times...sigh...it has been an exciting journey for me personally because I find I'm pushing myself beyond my normal limits, practicing my guitar, training my hearing and feel to the music, getting my singing right(i sang horribly out of tune in today's rehearsal)...and improving myself....
It's about 3+ days to the night and I'm anticipating it even as i write this in the wee hours of the morning.

Besides all the rehearsals, my band also had to sqeeze some time to rehearse and attend for an audition for the TRINITE prom by the three main faculties in MMU. We had the audition in Sparkles Studio..on Friday night...they have good equiptment. Honestly, it's my first time in a jamming studio...i have always been jamming in churches and playing in live functions and in church services...never in a studio...i enjoyed the padding of the room...though small, but absorbed all the sound pretty well...in sharp contrast to YAC. We played 'Dare you to move(Switchfoot), 'Your Light(Justin Lee)' and 'Waves of Glory(instrumental)'. I enjoyed myself...I keep telling myself that it's no big deal if we did not get the assignment...i think God has bigger stuff for us if we keep to His will. So anyhow, I'm not worried at all about the audition result. =) ..anyway, we played our best.
Oh yeah, a guy called Paul was kinda impressed and asked if we would like to gig...hmmm...took our contacts though.

Anyway, I'm currently occupied with NOC 3 now...so it's really a busy week for me....i like what i'm doing now...i hope and believe it to be a success.

I need a black shirt and a white tie which would most probably be our dress code...and a new set of strings.

Happy New Year...

on a more sobre note...i am wanting to be grateful and thankful for God's grace that we are safe and was not effected by the Tsunami...be grateful..
