RIP Michael Jackson
29th August 1958 - 25th June 2009

I got the sad news via sms on the morning of the 25th of June. I personally believe the world has lost one of the most iconic entertainers of this generation.

Being somebody who can dance is one thing.
Being somebody who can sing is another.
Being somebody who can do both EXCELLENTLY would be considered a feat.
But captivating the stage and the hearts of the people like no other, that's a class above the rest.

When i look back at his music videos at the height of his career such as Thriller, Billie Jean, Black or White and Smooth Criminal, i'm really intrigued at the engenuity of this guy, how he can pull off all those wicked moves and still look so darn cool. So they say, he revolutionized MTV single-handedly. His dance moves and stage charisma certainly produced many wanabes...

I'm sincerely quite sad. It's a shame we won't get to check out his comeback concerts.

This is one of my all time favourite music video, "Smooth Criminal the Moonwalker version". To me, it's the bomb. The music, the video arrangement, the dance moves, the style, the delivery...it's just classic MJ stuff.

Heck, we even paid tribute to the gloved one in NOC 3 by replicating the exact same bar scene.

Listening to his daughter saying good bye. It's heart wrenching. We realize he's still human after all.

Good bye MJ.
