This year's Theme is SNATCH...
birthed out of a concern of how people are dying by the thousands in these last days. This entire year has been filled with tragedy. There is a need to snatch people from hell and show them Christ. SNATCH your friends from hell...

The calm before the storm...
Something that I feel i must note down before the moment passes away.
The past few months have been really intense ones for me. Emotion roller costers and the ups and downs of life seem to clutter up my already cluttered up world.
Somewhere in September/Oct...got a call from Pastor Joanne...'would you like to be part of this year's Youth Alive Band...
'Me???'
Yes Yes Yes...and everything else fell into place...it was something i looked forward too with eager anticipation...
Rehearsals for the past two months were intense...and prepration was difficult...always treasured my peace and quiet moments after every HUGE rehearsal...could hear my ears ringing...VJ owes me ear plugs...
It has always been my dream, my passion, my intense desire, one of my deepest longing to be able to serve God with my music, especially in a concert setting...to be able to touch lives, to be able to play those songs that touched me...
My friends know that this is what i love to do, where i love to be at...
Somehow, what i want to say doesn't seem to be able to manifest itself in words here...
Pictures speak louder than words...

Me, praying, pondering, checking my heart...1st night...moments before concert...trying to control macho for the camera but actually getting loads of butterflies in my tummy...nervous giler...bleh...

campers filling up the hall
I guess it's every aspiring Christian musician's dream to be able to play in front of a crowd of a thousand young people...

Justin rocking...
after u jump to the beat of a few songs...you begin to sweat uncontrollably because of the blazing lights showering the stage...like i could see my sweat roll down the body of my black PRS...

Raj-bassist and Baldwin-keyboards

dancers...

Vijay pounding away...can u see his hands?

Benji leading...Ann Marie as one of the lead vocals

Calvin (we are YAM guitarist, love Manchester United proudly, play football, love our music...and came to one conclusion one night on our more down to earth conversations: We don't understand girls, what goes on in their heads sometimes...and we should stop tryin to understand them...heck, girls themselves admit not understandthing themselves either...isssh....period...=P)

Smoke machine effect...

uplifted hands...

In the zone...(raj n benji keep making fun of my body language on stage...bleh...)

screaming our hearts out...and lungs as well...
(extremely valuable tip: remember to check if you zipped ur pants before goin on stage...very important...repeat after me: IMPORTANT...)

HUGE CAMP 05 Youth Alive Band (PA man's butt on right - he did such an awesome job...and by the way, he's a muslim...and he witnessed the power of God...)
I am really honored to be able to grace the stage with people so passionate and committed to reaching lives through leading others in worship...breaking barriers and bondages...*speechless*...when's the next oppurtunity???

Pastor Chad Jacobson from Life Developement(don't know if that is his church or what...he's a travelling minister),Australia sharing awesome messages...energy n passion...
I heard about one of his testimonies that he gave in the morning sessions that I missed coz of work. How his natural parents were teenagers that made a mistake...and he was given up to be adopted by a pastor...that raised him up in the ways of God. From there he understood the literal meaning of REDEMPTION. How he was given a second chance at life, how he was supposed to be a mistake, but God had other plans, how he was redeemed from a birth of sin...how WE were all born in sin but are now sons of God through adoption because of what Christ did for us on the cross. How God has redeemed us and bought us into life...doesn't that challenge us to live for Him even more? like repaying a lifelong debt to Him who rescued us from our otherwise hellish future...

H.U.G.E...Have You Got Enough?
I heard so many testimonies and saw so many people come to know Christ for the first time. through the night concerts, through the Word...Saw people experience God...saw people get delivered...
Heard so many encouraging words from people...how they felt God's presence fall into the room...more than the music...
Nothing beats being able to see God move...I feel so unworthy...so overwhelmed as i began to recall those moments...
At the end of the day...I knew that it was worth it all...
Reality sets in after such a high week...the challenge is to see and experience God in the normal and everyday things in life.
Wow...
